Do not know what to do in Ille et Vilaine ? Less than 25 km from the campsite Château de Galinée, at the gates of the corsair city, the Grand Aquarium Saint-Malo is one of the largest in France. Through 9 different worlds, you can observe more than six hundred marine species.
The Abyssal Room unveils amazing species alive in the darkness of deep waters, among which flash fish that produce bright lightning.
The Atlantic Room highlights the sometimes poorly known species of our ocean coast, including impressive congresses.
In the Mediterranean room, the species are colored. Octopuses and cuttlefish rub shoulders with red and brown scorpion fish.
The tropical room invites you to travel through the seas and oceans of the world: around the coral reefs is dancing a ballet of colorful fish.
The mangrove is a world apart to discover, between aquariums and terrariums, fresh water and salt water.
Highlight of the Grand Aquarium of Saint-Malo, the Ring of the Seas is a huge pool of 600,000 liters of water that offers a panoramic view of its inhabitants: bull shark and zebra shark, giant grouper, eagle ray or even tortoise Caouanne .
The sea laboratory, dedicated to marine biology, also houses the nursery site.
The immense basin of the sunken ship contains many surprises. Among them, the black tip shark and several ray species.
The tactile pool finally offers you a sensory discovery: caress starfish, rays or turbot!
The aquarium of Saint-Malo offers in parallel of its great universes several attractions: the Abyssal Descender, a simulator of descent to discover the underwater depths in a sensational way, and the Nautibus, a mini-submersible which plunges into a recreation of the marine environment.

Accessible even on holidays except December 25, the Grand Aquarium of Saint-Malo opens its doors from 10am to 18h out of season, from 10am to 19h during the school holidays, from 9:30 to 20h early July and late August, and from 9.30am to 9pm from July 14th to August 15th.
Tickets sold on site are EUR 16.50 for a full-fare adult, and EUR 12 for children from 4 to 12 years old. A 10% discount is provided for large families. Tickets include access to the Nautibus and Abyssal Descender attractions. These attractions are not accessible to people with reduced mobility, so they benefit from a discounted ticket.
Many special offers are available through the online ticket : Special dates, dated or undated, or “Christmas gifts” tickets to offer to your loved ones.
